At Peacehaven Heights we are delighted to be able to continue running the breakfast club for children, in order for children to have a healthy and enjoyable start to the day.
The club is open from 7.30 am every day and children from nursery to Year 6 can attend. A walking bus operates each morning taking the infant pupils down to the infant site ready for registration. Any messages, bags or medicine will be taken and given in by a staff member of breakfast club upon dropping the children off, as we work closely with the office and teachers on both sites.
Breakfast club provides an excellent opportunity for the infant children to experience the junior site and make friends before their transition to Year 3.
The club is very popular so we ask parents/carers to register their children and state which days they will be attending. These can be changed from week to week but we would appreciate being advised in advance of any changes.
There is a varied menu and a good choice of food on offer:
A range of cereals with milk.
Toast with jam, butter, honey or marmite
The cost is £3.50 per day and should be paid in advance or on the day. Only children that are currently on free school meals do not need to pay.

The cost of the breakfast club is £3.50 per daily session and we are happy for parent/carers to pay in advance or on the day your child attends.
Payment can be made in cash, on the day, in advance or by bank transfer, direct into the school’s bank account. (sorry no cheque payments); we also accept childcare vouchers.
All children who are registered at the school for Free School Meals may attend breakfast club free of charge.
After the children have eaten there are a variety of activities for them to choose from and all children are expected to follow the school’s Golden Rules.
