At Peacehaven Heights we are delighted to be able to continue running the breakfast club for children, in order for children to have a healthy and enjoyable start to the day.
The club is open from 7.30 am every day and children from Year 1 to Year 6 can attend. A walking bus operates each morning taking the infant pupils down to the infant site ready for registration. Any messages, bags or medicine will be taken and given in by a staff member of breakfast club upon dropping the children off.
Breakfast club provides an excellent opportunity for the infant children to experience the junior site and make friends before their transition to Year 3.
The club is very popular so we ask parents/carers to register their children and state which days they will be attending. From September 2020 the sessions will need to be booked and paid for in advance online on a termly basis. We will be unable to accommodate any child who is not booked for the sessions. Due to Covid restrictions we only have a limited number of places available and we will be following Government Guidance regarding the opening of the provision.
There is a varied menu and a good choice of food on offer:
A range of cereals with milk. Toast with jam, butter, honey or marmite Fruit juice
All children who are registered at the school for Free School Meals may attend breakfast club free of charge, however you will still need to book their place.
After the children have eaten there are a variety of activities for them to choose from and all children are expected to follow the school’s Golden Rules.
If you would like to book a place at our Breakfast Club please email our school firstname.lastname@example.org and request a booking form to be sent to you.
